About the Artist
Hi everyone, my name is TrielaTea and I am the owner and creator of the Teikoku Fanart Shop. I'm also the designer and artist responsible for all the merch posted on the shop.
A little about me and my journey to creating Teikoku Fanart shop and the community around it. I always loved drawing since I 1st discovered anime and Japanese culture way back in the early 2000s. Back then, shows like Sailor Moon and networks like Og Toonami were on everyday after I got back from school.
That's when I took an interest in art, practicing drawing what I saw on the television. Most of drawings were done on paper because we didn't really have drawing tablets back then. In 2011, I stopped drawing do to moving to my home in Thailand and focusing on other aspirations in my life. It wasn't until 2015 I started back up again drawing. All thanks to meeting a wonderful person in my life. He is also my partner in running the shop. He goes by DMZ.
Because of him, I also got back into gaming and learned more about communities within these games. So, In 2020, I joined the social media app discord and the doors opened to a world of different communities based around different games. Currently still on the platform and within the 4 years of using it, I met a lot of people and made friends who truly understand what it means to manage and be apart of a community.
2022 was the year me and friends came together to create the empire(Teikoku). A multi-gaming and social community server and it became the foundation to creating the shop. I really enjoyed playing a lot different games with everyone and I started sharing my art there along with other artists I'm close friends with. I 1st started making emojis too, shared it around other communities.
Then after awhile, the idea to make my emojis and art into physical items came. Would my friends and the community be interested in having the actual emoji in their hand? For me, this is a way I can give back to the community we built together. Holding giveaways to give free merch to everyone.
I wanna see where this new endeavor takes me and the community. Where a new journey starts for us.
Thank you everyone for the support in making this shop happen. I appreciate it and I hope to continue to stay together in Teikoku for many years to come.
